Here is a new contribution to the Ripple blog. So many artists are sending in submissions, it's very encouraging.This is a bit of a different style for me...normally you will see black outlines in my work, but this time I went with color blobs...interesting. At least the little bird looks peaceful. :)
First of all, I am completely not a blog person. I made this so that I could contribute to Illustration Friday for this weeks' topic. However, drawing this made me very happy, and made me think that I should try to do as many of these weekly challenges as I can. Life always gets in the way and I haven't drawn in far too long. So here is my (perhaps short-lived) attempt at an illustration blog:
